Passporter

The Passporter holds the things you reach for at the border, the check-in desk, and the taxi, so they're in one known spot instead of scattered across your pockets and bag. Up to four passports slide in vertically, held by an elastic band that doubles as the closure for the cash slip behind them. A zippered side pocket takes a dozen-plus cards and coins together. The front has a mesh pocket with a D-ring for your keys, and a daisy chain behind the passports holds a pen and clips to a lanyard.

It's flat, it sits in one hand, and it keeps a border crossing from becoming a search of every pocket you own.
